چکیده
Abstract Water scarcity and resource depletion can be expected during the climate crisis. Therefore, thermally loaded processes in particular, must made more efficient future. Heat exchangers will play a key role this optimization process. More designs allow greater heat flow to removed from while mass flows remain constant. In context, heat-transferring wall of is focus current research on design exchangers. The aim increase surface as much possible keep space compact possible. study investigates suitability differential-growth method for generating complex walls using CFD-analysis. Firstly, framework structures computational model predicting influence such thermal fluid-dynamic behavior exchanger are presented. Thereby, potential analyzed study. Furthermore, identified weaknesses designed with method, which should future investigations.

Mathematical methods for heat exchanger network synthesis
This paper gives an overview of the evolution of mathematical methods for heat exchanger network synthesis over the last 25 years. Two major developments have been methods for targeting and methods for automated synthesis through simultaneous optimization. The former have helped to expand the scope and increase the accuracy of pinch based methods; the latter have provided a framework to automat...
متن کاملWater thickness effect on the fin efficiency and heat transfer for partially wet-surface heat exchanger
Heat and mass transfer, in this paper, is considered in one-row heat exchanger, that fins are hotter than air flow and water is added to fins. Related governing equations are derived by analyzing a two-dimension model in a unique cell of a heat exchange. These equations are numerically solved by finite difference method. Heat transfer and efficiency under partially wet surface are calculated by...
متن کاملGeneralization of Decomposed Integration Methods for Cost Effective Heat Exchanger Networks with Multiple Cost Laws
At many circumstances, in heat exchange processes several exchangers were used with different cost laws due to their pressure ratings, materials of construction and exchange3r types. In such circumstances traditional methods of pinch technology can not be led to minimum total annual cost may cause some other disadvantages like more complexity or higher maintenance. In this research work a n...
